Here’s why professionals choose ACSTH coach training program and you should too

A career in coaching is one of the most satisfying career choices as it gives a sense of great satisfaction to help people in need and to navigate their personal and professional challenges, whether professionally or personally.

However, unlike what many believe, becoming a coach does not mean providing random life advice to the people. Professional coaching is about making clients navigate road-blocks and understand their potential. Professional coaches deal with the issues and challenges of their clients in a methodical and structured way.

An ICF accreditation is now almost mandatory to becoming a professional coach. Accredited coaches have far more gravitas than someone who has not undergone the process of accreditation. ICF accredited coaches also have a high earning potential.

A Coach certification prepares an individual to become a professional coach who can approach any situation with consistency and uniformity. There are many ICF accredited coach training programs available. One of the most popular coaches’ training programs to become eligible for applying ICF credentials is the Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours or ACSTH pathway.

What is the ACSTH Pathway?

Approved Coaching Specific Training Hours or ACSTH is one of the three pathways through which participants can apply for ICF credentials, such as ACC and PCC credentials.

ACSTH training program is an internationally recognized coach training program. This ICF-accredited program is for new as well as existing coaches who wish to pursue coaching as a formal profession. Participants after the completion of the ACSTH training program become eligible for applying for ICF credentials. They can directly approach the International Coaching Federation for their ICF accreditations.

Program Details of ACSTH Coach Certification Program:

ICF recognized ACSTH coach training program is divided into two levels. Both levels offer a pathway for applying for different ICF credentials. They are:

Level 1: It consists of 60 hours of coach training, which includes one-on-one mentoring sessions, self-study hours, assignments, and practice sessions. After level 1 of ACSTH, participants can apply for ACC credentials.

Level 2: It consists of 65 hours of coach training with one-to-one mentored sessions, peer sessions, self-study, assignments, and client sessions. Posy level 2 of ACSTH, trained coaches can apply for PCC credentials.

New and existing coaches who wish to become coaching professionals can opt either for level 1 ACSTH training or attend both the levels together, depending on their requirements.

Who benefits from the ACSTH training program?

  • The ACSTH pathway is beneficial for any individual who wishes to be trained to become ICF certified coach but may need time flexibility
  • ACSTH pathway is for any professional coaches who want to enhance their coaching capabilities and desire to grow as professional coaches.
  • The course is for new aspiring coaches who want to pursue a career in professional coaching.
  • It is desirable for individuals who are looking to become Associate Certified Coach (ACC) or want to grow as a coach by becoming ICF accredited Professional Certified Coach (PCC)

Why should you choose the ACSTH program?

  • Professionals around the world choose the ACSTH coach training program as it is one of the pathways to apply for ICF credentials. You should choose the ACSTH coach training program for boosting your coaching career, and for becoming a globally recognized coaching professional.
  • ICF-backed ACSTH coach training program is ideal for working professionals and organisational leaders who want to be able to add coaching skills to their professional portfolio. If you are a leader, at any level, in an organization, you may opt for the ACSTH coach training program for developing yourself as a certified coach.
  • ACSTH is a cost-effective coach training program where you have the flexibility to become either ACC certified coach or PCC certified coach, depending on which ACSTH level course you opt for. ICF accreditation holds a significant value in the field of coaching professionals as it is internationally recognized.

Advantages of choosing ACSTH coach training program:

Some of the advantages of choosing the ACSTH pathway are:

  1. Direct assessment from ICF: In the ACSTH pathway, participants’ coaching performances are directly evaluated by the ICF assessor, thus, enabling the participant coaches to apply for their credentials directly to the ICF. Coach training providers do not evaluate their performance.
  2. Easy ICF-credential process: ACSTH program allows the trainee coaches to apply for their ICF credentials after the successful completion of their course. Once an individual completes their required training hours, successfully completes required client coaching hours, and completes assignments, they can apply to OCF to get their credentials.
  3. Take coaching skills to a higher level: After the participants get their certification by completing ACSTH levels of coaching, they can either start their career as professional coaches or can take their coaching skills to a subsequent level by pursuing higher coaching courses. It is ideal for those who may want to move from ACC to PCC levels.
