Ultra Violet Disinfection

This filtration system has a UV lamp. This lamp provides you with safe and pure drinking water.  The ultraviolet light that is used in the process is extremely high-powered ultraviolet that is known as UV-C or germicidal UV. To deactivate the pathogens, the UV-C rays penetrate deep into the body of these pathogens. The UV rays modify the DNA of these pathogens and stop them from multiplying themselves. These rays can kill around 99.9 percent of microorganisms.

Compared to the other chemical disinfection, the extremely harmful microorganisms can or form any kind of immune mechanism when UV light is used. The efficiency of the overall water treatment also increases when the pre-treatment process is maximized. During the phase of pre-treatment, the water passes from the carbon filters and sediment filters. The organic impurities are removed using the carbon filters whereas silt is removed using the sediment filters that is present in the water.

Ultra Filtration

Some water purifiers use hydrostatic pressure that forces the water against the semi-permeable membranes. This membrane helps to remove bacteria and other types of microorganisms along with bad odor in the water.

This is more or less the same as the reverse osmosis filtration system, Nanofiltration or microfiltration except considering the size of the molecules that it retains. Bacteria, colloids, pathogens, and other such molecules are removed using the Ultrafiltration system. These are larger than the pores that are in the semi-permeable membrane.
